 In winter Montriond is part of the famous International ski area; Les Portes du Soleil. Uniting 12 Ski Stations situated between two countries : France and Switzerland, giving you a total of 650km of ski piste for all abilities.
The Ardent Bubble (5km from the centre of the village) is one of three possible start points to Avoriaz/Les Portes du Soleil. It takes you directly to la Lecherette** plateau, THE BEST access point for a number of ski lifts to neighbouring ski stations, Plain Dranse, Chatel (France), Les Crozets, Champery and Champoussin (Switzerland).
 Montriond in summer Visit Montriond village dominated by its typical ‘Bubble’ Church bell, its Savoyard hamlets of Le Crets, Les Granges and La Lavanchy. In the same direction visit the Lake, enjoy the activities, visit the Ardent waterfall and don’t forget the famous goat village of Les Lindarets. Access to Mountain bike tracks is available from la Lecherette plateau
